Agreement signed between extremist group DNLA and Govt of Assam

Delhi: An agreement was signed between the extremist group Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) and the Government of Assam on Thursday.

Following the signing Assam Chief Minister HB Sarma said that except ULFA, all other problems have been solved in the state, reported ANI.

Speaking on this occasion Union Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed his happiness over the agreement and said that now DNLA will not adopt any violent process rather it will work towards development of the area as well as India.

As PM Narendra Modi aims for a peaceful North-east, the Home Ministry is making efforts to achieve this goal.
