Maharashtra: At least six people lost their lives while many were reported injured after a massive fire broke out at glove factory in Maharashtra. The fire accident occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, confirmed reliable sources.

The fire broke out at a hand glove manufacturing unit located in Sabhajinagar of Maharashtra. Reportedly, about 10 to 15 workers were sleeping inside the building when the fire broke out. Officials from the fire department said that they received a call about the incident at around 2:15 am.

Upon receiving information, Fire department personnel reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation immediately. The fire was controlled within few hours.

The people injured in the Maharashtra fire accident were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Bodies of six people have been recovered so far.

The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Investigation into the matter is underway. Further details awaited.
