20-year-old woman threatens to jump off Delhi metro track, later rescued

New-Delhi: In a dramatic incident, a 20-year-old woman threatened to jump off the metro track at Central Delhi’s Shadipur metro station at 5 pm last evening.

The entire video has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the girl dressed in white top and jeans crossed the metro station and was standing on the elevated metro track holding her mobile phone in her hand. She was seen climbing on the railing.

According to police, the woman was upset after an argument with her parents and then she suddenly went to the bridge and tried to jump down.

On being informed about the incident, a group of security personnel who were deployed at the metro station went to rescue her and pulled her back to safety.

Later, the police have started a probe into the matter.
