15 couples from across India to be ‘yajman’ for Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha

A total of 15 couples from different parts of India will perform the duty of ‘yajman’ (hosts) during the Ram Mandir pran pratishtha.

Ayodhya: A total of 15 couples from different parts of India will perform the duty of ‘yajman’ (hosts) during the Ram Mandir pran pratishtha in Ayodhya on January 22.

As yajman, these couples will perform rituals during the Ram temple consecration ceremony in the presence of other dignitaries. According to reports, these couples are from different castes including Dalits, tribals, OBCs (including Yadav) and others.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, trust president Nrtiya Gopal Das, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform rituals during the Ram temple pran pratishtha.

At the same time, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust shared a list of 14 names who will perform rituals. This list includes Ramchandra Kharadi, president of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, an affiliate of RSS. Kharadi, who comes from a tribal community from Udaipur. Three yajman are from Varanasi. They include Anil Chaudhary, Kailash Yadav and Kaveendra Pratap Singh.

Other names are Ram Kui Jemi of Assam, Sardar Guru Charan Singh Gill from Jaipur, Krishna Mohan of Hardoi, from Ravidasi samaj, Ramesh Jain from Multani, and Adalarasan from Tamil Nadu.  From Mumbai Vitthalrao Kamble, Mahadev Rao Gaikwad from Latur, Ghumantu samaj trustee, Lingraj Vasavaraj Appa from Kalaburagi in Karnataka, Dilip Valmiki from Lucknow, and Arun Chaudhary of Palwal in Haryana are among other members.

Meanwhile, RSS leader Anil Mishra, member of the organisation’s Awadh wing, and wife Usha are the “pradhan yajman” (main hosts). They will perform the rituals leading up to the consecration event.
