Agra: In a tragic incident, one person lost their life while over two dozen people sustained injuries in a massive accident on Agra Expressway. The tragic accident took place during the early morning hours on Wednesday near Unnao, the Uttar Pradesh police confirmed.
Reports from reliable sources state that at least six vehicles collided with each other after a double decker bus lost control. The bus hit the central divider due to poor visibility amidst the dense fog. One of the passengers on the bus sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
Approximately 24 other passengers were injured in the accident on Agra Expressway. The injured ones were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Six of them got critical and were referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre.
Officials from the local police station reached the spot and have initiated a probe into the matter. Further details are awaited.
