Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021: Notification released for 50 Assistant Commandant posts; Apply online
Indian Coast Guard has released a hiring notification for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant 01/2022 batch. The interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online through the application link. The online application link be open from July 4, 2021. The last date of the online application is 14 July.
A total of 50 Vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment process out of which 40 Vacancies are for GD and 10 are for Tech (Engineering/Electrical). The candidates can refer to this notification to know the eligibility, experience, selection criteria and other details here.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2021
Educational Qualification:
General Duty: The candidate should have done Bachelor Degree with Minimum 60% Marks All Semester / Year and should have Maths, Physics as a Subject in 10+2 Level Examination.
Technical (Engineering/Electrical): The applicant must have a Degree/Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Instrumentation and Control/Electronics and Communication/Power Engineering/Power Electronics/Naval Architecture/Mechanical/Marine/Automotive/Mechatronics/Industrial and Production/Metallurgy/Design/Aeronautical/Aerospace with 60% Marks and should have passed 10+2 with Physics / Math as a Compulsory Subject with 60% Marks.
Age Limit
General Duty: Born between Jul 01, 1997 to Jun 30, 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
Technical (Engineering/Electrical): Born between Jul 01, 1997 to Jun 30, 2001 (Both dates inclusive).

Salary details
The pay scales for the various ranks are as per the 7th CPC.
Assistant Commandant- Rs 56,100 (Pay level 10)
Selection Process
The candidates will be shortlisted as per the merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Preliminary Selection (Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and
Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT)) then the selected candidates will be called for Final selection.
The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test).
All candidates recommended by Final Selection Board will undergo Medical examination at nearest Military Hospital as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Assistant Commandant entry.
