Four percent DA Hike for Government Employees of this state, Check all details here

The State Government Employees of Madhya Pradesh were getting a DA of 38 percent. With the rise their DA will increase to 42 percent.

In a recent news, the government has announced a hike in DA (Dearness Allowance) by four percent for its employees. The outstanding allowances for 6 months starting from January will be paid to the employees in 3 instalments.

With this new scheme, over seven lakh State Government employees of Madya Pradesh with be benefitted. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh said that the State Government will receive benefits, similar to that of the Central Government employees.

It is to be noted that the State Government Employees of Madhya Pradesh were till now getting a DA of 38 percent. Now with an increase of four percent, they will receive a DA of 42 percent. This will subsequently result in a salary hike for all employees.

The DA hike has been announced in effect from January 1, 2023. Therefore, all state Government employees of Madhya Pradesh will be given the pending DA of six months. This pending amount will be given to them in three instalments.

Chouhan said that, under sixth pay scale, all employees will get to see a proportionate increase in the Dearness allowance. He also mentioned that all the employees who have completed a total of 35 years of service this year by July 1, will be getting a pay scale hike for the fourth time.
