Watch: Zaheer Iqbal Embarks On A Beautiful Journey in ‘Safar’ From ‘Notebook’

Bhubaneswar: After ‘Nai Lagda’, ‘Laila’, ‘Bumro’ and ‘Main Taare’, the makers of Notebook on Saturday released the fifth song from the film titled ‘Safar’. Composed by Vishal Mishra and sung by Mohit Chauhan, the song features Zaheer Iqbal who is seen embarking on a beautiful journey through the snow-capped valleys of Kashmir.

Salman Khan, who is producing the film, took to Twitter to share the song. He wrote- “Judd Jao Pyaar ke #Safar mein! Debutants Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal also shared the fifth song from their debut film on Instagram.

The songs of ‘Notebook’ have gained immense popularity among common masses. ‘Nai Lagda’ has garnered 10 million views on YouTube, ‘Laila’ has 8 million views and ‘Bumro’ has received 7 million views. Similarly ‘Main Taare’ which is sung by Salman Khan, has got more than 8 million views in a span of few days.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salman Khan, ‘Notebook’ is a love story based in Kashmir and narrates the story of a man and a woman who fall in love without even knowing or seeing each other. The film has been shot extensively at picturesque locations in the Kashmir valley like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Srinagar.

The movie marks the debut of Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. While Pranutan is the granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan and daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl, Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Salman Khan’s childhood friend Iqbal.

‘Notebook’ is slated for theatrical release on March 29, 2019.
