Dubai (UAE) (ANI): Making a surprising revelation about the upcoming movie ‘Bawaal’, Varun Dhawan during a Press Conference said that during the first month of shooting, he intentionally avoided talking to his co-star, Janhvi Kapoor.
He also revealed how the actress ‘took it personally’ when he disclosed the real reason behind his actions. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Bawaal’ is a romantic film set in the heartland of India, but also takes viewers on a unique journey through Europe.
Paired on-screen for the very first time, Varun Dhawan plays Ajay Dixit, a school teacher in Lucknow, idolised by his students, and admired by everyone in town, and Janhvi Kapoor plays Nisha, a bright, beautiful and simple lass, whose only hope is to find her one true love.
Responding on the question of ‘audiences have become a critic of movies these days and how the trio deal with it’, Bawaal Director, Nitesh Tiwari said, “This is something which is not a very new phenomenon.”
Bawaal Director further added, “I think the pace at which this is spreading now is the only thing which is staged…its always the word of mouth. The process has remained the same only the speed has changed. You make films keeping your fingers for majority of people so you can’t please everyone.”

The official note mentioned, “But love is never easy, and has to pass through a war of its own!” The film, which is co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will premiere on an OTT platform Prime Video India on July 21.
