The incident came to fore as Uorfi was spotted on a coffee run by paparazzo Viral Bhayani. In the video, a group of individuals claiming to be police officers approached her and asked her presence at the police station. When questioned about the reason of her arrest, a female cop said, “Itne chote chote kapde kaun pehenke kaun ghumta hai? (Who roams around wearing such skimpy clothes?).”
In the video, Uorfi was wearing a backless red top paired with denim pants during her coffee outing. Despite her repeated inquiries, she was escorted to the police station by the officials, who held her by her arms.
The online community appears divided regarding the veracity of the video. Some speculate that it might be a prank staged by the actress herself, while others remain uncertain about the situation.
Uorfi Javed’s controversial fashion choices have previously landed her in trouble. Last month, a complaint was filed against her at the Bandra Police Station, as reported by ETimes. The actress promptly made her way to the police station to address the matter.
Uorfi Javed, a former contestant on Bigg Boss OTT, has been a frequent target of trolling and abuse due to her unconventional fashion choices. She has openly discussed the challenges she faces in dealing with complaints against her wardrobe.
In a previous interview, Uorfi defended her clothing choices, stating that she is doing it for attention, as the industry is driven by popularity and visibility. She further argued that she is not the only one wearing such outfits, pointing out that many girls share similar attire on social media.
