‘Takeshi’s Castle’ returns on Prime Video India: Bhuvan Bam’s comic character ‘Titu Mama’ takes the Mic as Commentator

Bhuvan Bam has stepped into the role of the commentator for the 80s Japanese game show, 'Takeshi’s Castle,' on Prime video India.

Mumbai: The highly anticipated reboot of the 80s Japanese game show, ‘Takeshi’s Castle,’ is set to return to screens, promising swashbuckling adventures, challenging games, and sidesplitting commentary. This time, actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam steps into the role of the commentator, bringing a uniquely Indian perspective to the iconic show.

Prime Video India has officially announced the arrival of a brand-new season of ‘Takeshi’s Castle,’ the beloved game show known for its outrageous challenges and humorous commentary. The eight-episode series, set to stream on Prime Video India, promises to capture the essence of the original show, combining thrilling adventures with uproarious commentary.

Jaaved Jaaferi’s witty commentary on the Hindi version of ‘Takeshi’s Castle’ had won hearts, and now, Bhuvan Bam is all set to carry the torch forward. As contestants navigate through a series of exhilarating challenges, Bhuvan Bam will provide a dose of laughter and fun in his beloved character, ‘Titu Mama,’ a character well-known from his ‘BB Ki Vines’ series.

Staying true to the spirit of the original series, viewers will witness over 100 contestants, the ‘attacking army,’ as they attempt to conquer the seemingly impenetrable castle, braving guards, devils, and giant foam mushrooms along the way. Only the boldest and luckiest will progress to face Takeshi himself, with a chance to win a substantial prize of 1 million yen.
