Porn star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has rejected the offer to play the leading lady in ‘Kamasutra’. Ekta Kapoor, who is best known for her TV serials on ‘Saas-bahu’ is making the web series. Thinking Sunny Leone is the best fit for the leading role in the film she had offered. And this news was making the rounds since the last few days. However, as per the latest report Sunny has rejected the offer.
Fans of Sunny Leone were excited to watch their favourite actress in this series on the ancient Indian text ‘Kamasutra’. Yet, as Sunny Leone rejected the offer Ekta is planning to take someone else in the film. However, as both of them are like friends, if a new report is to be believed, Ekta may also alter the script as per Sunny’s suggestion.

Ancient Indian text Kamasutra is written by Vatsyayana. Ekta’s upcoming web series is set in the 13th century. It will focus on the women of the Goli caste in Rajasthan, who used to serve as mistresses to the kings.
Earlier, in 1996 filmmaker Mira Nair adapted the same subject into a film which starred Indira Varma, Naveen Andrews, and Sarita Chaudhry. Legendary actress Rekha also starred in Mira’s directorial as Rasa Devi, the Kama Sutra teacher.
When it comes to Sunny Leone’s Bollywood films she has been featured in movies like Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheeli Leela and Tera Intezaar. She also appeared in item numbers in many films such as Raees, Shootout at Wadala and Bhoomi amongst many others. In 2018, she also did a biographical TV series, in which she essayed herself, called Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story of Sunny Leone.
