Sunny Deol’s luxurious Juhu villa to be auctioned for recovering Rs 56 crore dues

Actor Sunny Deol’s opulent villa in the upscale Juhu area of Mumbai’s western district is being auctioned by the Bank of Baroda.This action comes as an effort to recover a loan, amounting to approximately Rs 56 crore, that was extended to the actor, along with accrued interest.

The bank’s notice announcing the auction was prominently featured in a national newspaper on Sunday, August 20. The notice identifies the actor by his real name, Ajay Singh Deol, and reveals that the villa bears the name “Sunny Villa,” with additional loan particulars. Remarkably, Sunny Deol’s brother, Bobby Deol (Vijay Singh Deol), their legendary father Dharmendra Singh Deol, and Sunny Deol’s company, Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd, are all named as Guarantors and Corporate Guarantor for the loan procured from the Bank of Baroda.

The property facing auction, “Sunny Villa,” is situated on Gandhigram Road in Juhu. The bank is seeking to auction the surrounding land to recover the outstanding dues. This land spans an area of 599.44 square meters and is situated on a portion of land identified as Survey No. 41 Hissa No 5 (Pt) CTS No. 173 in the village of Juhu, Taluka Andheri, Mumbai Suburban District.

For this auction, the Bank of Baroda has set a reserve price of Rs 51.43 crore, with an Earnest Money Deposit requirement of approximately Rs 5.14 crore. Bidders are expected to increase their offers by Rs 10 lakh increments.
