SRK’s Jawan sells over 2.60 lakh advance tickets worth approximately Rs 7 crore

Excitement is soaring high among fans as Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited movie, ‘Jawan, is all set to hit the big screen. The superstar’s 2023 got off to a fantastic start with his previous film Pathaan becoming a massive success, crossing the remarkable 1000 crore rupee mark at the box office. Now, there’s immense anticipation that “Jawan” will surpass “Pathaan’s” success.

The advance bookings for Jawan have just begun, and the buzz in the charts indicates that it’s poised for success. According to DNA India, Jawan had already sold an impressive 2.60 lakh tickets by 3 p.m. today, amassing over Rs. 7 crore in advance booking collections.

This achievement has already outshone the total advance booking collections of Salman Khan’s “Kisi ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” which stood at 3.39 crore.

Film industry experts are making confident forecast, with renowned trade analyst Manobala Vijaytabalan boldly stating on social media that “Jawan” is poised to become Shah Rukh Khan’s second film to open with over Rs 100 crores. He proclaimed, “This would mark a historic milestone in Bollywood, making SRK the first actor to achieve this remarkable feat in the industry’s history.”

Cinema trade specialist Taran Adarsh reports that the film has already sold more than 79,500 advance tickets for its opening day. This impressive figure includes 66,000 tickets from PVR and INOX cinemas and an additional 13,500 tickets from Cinepolis.
