Sony TV releases teaser of ‘Srimad Ramayan’, new mythological show to premiere in January 2024

In recent news, Sony Entertainment Television is all set to release its new show titled ‘Srimad Ramayan.’ The show is set to hit the small screens in January 2023. The channel unveiled a teaser of the upcoming show on August 17.
The teaser created an anticipation among the viewers. Sony TV’s new show promises to connect with the audience through its essence of heritage and spiritual learnings.
The teaser of ‘Srimad Ramayan’ was shared on the channel’s official Instagram handle. The video was accompanied by a caption that read, “Sanskriti ka Gaurav, Sanskaron ka shikhar…” Meaning, ‘The pride of culture, epitome of traditions. The tale of Lord Rama, coming soon.’

Reportedly, the show will be replacing ‘Punyashlok Ahilya Bai’ next year. ‘Srimad Ramayan’ is being produced by Swastik Productions. This production house is well known for delivering some of the very popular mythological shows to the audience.
The announcement of Sony TV’s new show comes a couple of months after the release of Om Raut’s directorial ‘Adipurush.’
