Singham actor Ravindra Berde passes away of heart attack in Mumbai

Veteran actor of Hindi and Marathi films industry, specifically known for his character in Singham, Ravindra Berde dies due to heart attack.

Mumbai: Veteran actor of both Hindi and Marathi films industry, Ravindra Berde passed away due to heart attack on Wednesday. The actor was undergoing treatment for throat cancer at a local hospital in Mumbai of Maharashtra.

Ravindra Berde died at the age of 78. The actor was diagnosed with throat cancer a few months ago. Following the detection of cancer, he was admitted to Tata Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. He was discharged from the hospital two days ago. However, he suffered from heart attack on Wednesday morning and passed away.

Ravindra has worked in more than 100 movies in both Bollywood and Marathi film industry. He has famously worked with Anil Kapoor in “Nayak: The Real Hero.”

Beside this, he also played the role of Zamindar Chandrakant in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster film Singham.

In Marathi film industry, Berde shared screen with notable actors including Ashok Saraf, Vijay Chavan, Viju Khote, Sudhir Joshi, and Bharat Jadhav.
