Shilpa-Raj Kundra file a Rs 50 crore defamation case against Sherlyn Chopra
Celebrity couple Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s lawyer has filed a RS 50 crore defamation case against Sherlyn Chopra for her allegations. The couple took the step after Sherlyn filed an FIR against the businessman at Juhu police station.
In the complaint, Sherlyn alleged Raj and Shilpa of sexual harassment, cheating and criminal intimidation. Despite the couple’s lawyer’s warning, the model called a press conference to notify the issue.
As per an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, the notice sent by the star couple’s lawyer claims that the allegation that has been put on them are ‘concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence.’ The notice further states that the allegations were made by Sherlyn ‘with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money.’
The notice also mentions that Shilpa Shetty is not involved in an activity of the stream app as it read, “It is nothing but an audacious attempt, by Ms. Sherlyn to drag Ms. Shilpa Shetty’s name to create unwanted controversy and gain media attention.”
Sherlyn went to the police station on October 14, to file a complaint against the two. Before the complaint the model also revealed that she will be calling a press conference to shed details on the allegations on Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty. Post the incident, the couple’s lawyer issued a statement and warned Sherlyn of defamation. However, the actress still did what she said.
Since Kundra’s arrest on the adult film racket case, Sherlyn has been taking digs at him and his wife through her social medias.
