Mumbai: A few days back, it was reported that Katrina Kaif, who was all set to star opposite Varun Dhawan in ABCD 3, has opted out of the project due to her tight schedule. The actress had to leave the project due to date issues as she is currently shooting for ‘Bharat’ with Salman Khan.
Soon after Katrina’s exit from the film, rumours of Shraddha Kapoor replacing Katrina in the film started doing the rounds. Shraddha and Varun had earlier starred together in ABCD 2and this was adding fuel to the rumours that she might star in ABCD 3 as well.
However, according to latest reports, Sara Ali Khan is being considered for the female part opposite Varun Dhawan in ABCD 3. Considering the fact that Sara has impressed all with her acting chops with Kedarnath and Simmba, it does not come as a surprise that every director is vying to cast her in their projects.
A source close to the project informed a tabloid, “With Shraddha on board, it would be a reunion of the ABCD 2 trio, along with Varun and Remo. They have an equation and that would help in their collaborating on another dance flick. The other strong contender for the role is Sara Ali Khan. She has proved her acting chops in Kedarnath and has been appreciated in Simmba too. Signing her would also mean a fresh new onscreen pair. And Varun and Sara together are bound to generate tremendous buzz for this dance movie. So yes, the makers are definitely looking at the advantage of casting Sara for the film.”
