In a spectacular performance at the box office, Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tiger 3’ has crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone in just two days, outshining the second-day collection of this year’s biggest hit, ‘Jawan.’ According to a Sacnilk report, the film raked in Rs 57.52 crore on its second day, following a Rs 44.5 crore collection on Sunday, bringing the two-day total to Rs 102 crore.

Surpassing the second-day figures of ‘Jawan,’ ‘Tiger 3’ solidifies its position as a blockbuster contender. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan,’ which released on a Thursday, made Rs 53 crore on its second day after an Rs 74.5 crore opening. Despite the success, ‘Jawan’ went on to amass Rs 1100 crore at the worldwide box office.

Internationally, ‘Tiger 3’ made a significant impact by becoming the BIGGEST OPENER EVER in international markets. On the first day, it amassed USD 5,000,530 [Rs 41.66 crore], as reported by film trade expert Taran Adarsh.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Tiger 3’ maintained a robust occupancy rate on Monday, with 48.62% in Hindi, 26.43% in Telugu, and 29.91% in Tamil.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is the sequel to the 2017 hit ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and is a part of YRF’s expansive spy universe, intertwining characters from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War.’ Set after the events of ‘Pathaan,’ the film follows Salman’s titular spy racing against time to protect both his family and country, marking the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.

The film’s global success echoes the recent triumph of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan,’ which registered Rs 129.6 crore worldwide, making it the last Hindi film to achieve a blockbuster global opening.
