Senior Ollywood actor Sritam Das sustained injuries in his hands and legs while shooting upcoming film ‘Nabakalebara.’

Bhubaneswar: Senior Ollywood actor Sritam Das sustained injuries in his hands and legs while shooting upcoming film ‘Nabakalebara.’

According to reports, the cast and crew of Nabakalebara film were shooting in Banki area of Cuttack district. While giving his shot, Sritam Das fell off the back of a horse and fractured his right hand. He also suffered minor injuries in his legs.

Following the mishap, the actor was rushed to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. However, he is stated to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, his fans and well-wishers have wished the speedy recovery of the actor.

Sritam Das, who started his career in Odia industry through the movie ‘Sabitri’ in 1995, has acted in more than 60 films. Besides, he worked as a storyteller, director and actor in ‘Tu Thaa Mu Jauchi Rusi.’

Ever since joining the BJP in 2014, Sritam Das is also active in politics. The saffron party had fielded him for the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Mayor election in 2022.
