Miley Cyrus’ parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus to separate after 28 years of marriage
Hollywood singer Miley Cyrus’s parents are on the verge of getting separated after nearly 28 years of marriage. Reportedly, the singer’s mother Trish Cyrus has filed for divorce from husband Billy Ray Cyrus.
On April 6, the actress filed the court papers. According to the documents the reason for the separation reads, “irreconcilable differences.” It is to be noted that Trish and Billy haven’t lived together since February 2020.
The two got married in 1993 and are parents to 29-year-old Miley, 27-year -old Braison and 22-year-old Noah. Trish also has two kid, Brandi and Trace, from her previous marriage to Baxter Neal Helson.
This is not the first time Trish and Billy has filled for a divorce. The duo separated once before in 2010, but later reconciled after a year.
Once again in 2013, the couple filed for a divorce but, decided to dismiss the case after getting back together in 2017. During that time, when being asked about the matter, the couple released a statement that said, “This is a personal matter and we are doing what is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Miley Cyrus too has been through some tough time when she announced a divorce from Liam Hemsworth after nearly seven months after their marriage. The couple got separated in 2019. On being asked about her break-up with Liam, during her appearance on The Howard Stern show, the singer said that they split due to “too much conflict” in their marriage.
