Is Poonam Pandey the first contestant of Kangana Ranaut’s new reality show ‘Lock Upp’?

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently declared her first reality show titled ‘Lock Upp’ which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor. On Friday, in a huge press conference at the grandiose JW Marriot Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, the actress and the producer announced about their upcoming reality show. The duo claimed that it will be a first-of-its-kind concept, unlike anything witnessed before not only on Indian television or Indian OTT platforms, but also in the West.

According to a report by Bollywood life, Ekta also went on to elaborate how the show is completely homebred and the concept was brought to her by two young, local boys.

Ekta also revealed that the show will only feature celebrities. Although she did not drop any names, she said that it has all been vetted by her hostess, Kangana Ranaut, who’s likely having the final say on who’s going inside.

Ekta and Kangana then described the format of Lock Upp, and stated that it’ll involve sixteen contestants. The contestants will be locked up in jail cells.

According to sources, Poonam Pandey is going to be first contestant of Lock Upp. As the makers are looking for people who have no problem in getting bolder, Poonam is the best fit for the show, considering her uber-sexy image, and word is that she may be willing to expose even more than usual for the sake of the format.

Lock Upp will premiere simultaneously on MX Player and ALT Balaji by the end of February.
