Farhan Akhtar announces Don 3 , Ranveer Singh might replace SRK

In recent news, Farhan Akhtar has finally announced Don 3, confirming its making. He took to his official Instagram account to release the official trailer of the third part of the Don Franchise.
While the post was void of any caption, the content said it all. The short teaser highlighted on the number ‘three’ centered at the screen. A background music was heard in the video that sounded like a rendition of the iconic ‘Main Hoon Don’ song.
However, the catch in the teaser was the line mentioned at the bottom of the screen which read, ‘Beginning of a new era.’
This got fans of the franchise worried at they started taking it as a hint of SRK’s exit from the franchise. If speculations are to be believed, Ranveer Singh has been cast to play the titular role in the film. Nothing, however, has been confirmed yet.
Not just fans, but some famous Instagram accounts also expressed their excitement in the comments section. IMDB India’s comment was definitely a highlight which read, ’11 mulkon ki police want to know the release date.’ Munawar Faruqui and Zoya Akhtar’s also commented on the post expressing their excitement.
On the other hand, fans of the franchise, and fans of SRK took to the comments section of the post to express their disappointment. Some netizens ever started a trend with #NoSRKNoDon.
While we await for any official confirmation on the release date and further details, trying to join the dots and figuring out deets on our own would be much fun to do, wouldn’t it?
