Chris Hemsworth To Debut On Netflix With India-Based Thriller ‘Dhaka’

Los Angeles: Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth will make his Netflix debut with an action-thriller set in India titled ‘Dhaka’. In the movie, Hemsworth will be seen playing the role of a man who is trying to rescue a kidnapped Indian boy trafficked to Dhaka in Bangladesh.

The film will be produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of Avengers: Infinity War. The script of the film has been written by Joe Russo and it will be directed by debutant Sam Hargrave. The hostage drama will be shot extensively in India and Thailand.

Currently, Chris Hemsworth is busy with the post-production for Drew Goddard’s Bad Times at the El Royale and for the untitled Avengers film. He will also be seen in the spy thriller MIB.

‘Dhaka’ will also mark the reunion of Hemsworth with Joe Russo. The duo have previously worked together in the Marvel film Avengers: Infinity War.

As per reports, Avengers 4 is underway which will a conclusion to this phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is expected to hit theatres in May next year.
