Bollywood actor Asif Basra passes away under suspicious circumstances

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Asif Basra has reportedly been died. His dead body was found hanging in the room of a Guest house in Dharmasala area in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Police investigation in this matter is underway.

“Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter,” SSP Kangra, Vimukt Ranjan was quoted as saying by ANI.

As per the police, just before the alleged suicide, he had returned from a stroll in the locality along with his dog.

No suicide note has been recovered.It has been learnt that Basra, who was under depression, was staying here with a British woman.

Asif Basra is best known for his roles in popular Bollywood films like ‘Ek Villain’, ‘Black Friday’,’Krrish 3’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’.
