Mumbai: Bollywood’s Mr. Khiladi Akshay Kumar has tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Sunday and is under home quarantine.
Akshay took his official Twitter handle to share the news with his fans.
He posted a note early on Sunday, which read “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all the protocols I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me get themselves tested and take care. Back in action soon!”

On the work front, Akshay is currently shooting in Ayodhya for his latest film “Ram Setu” along with his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez and Nusrat Baruccha.
