Akshay Kumar offers prayers at Mahakal temple on his 56th birthday
Akshay Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan were seated in the Nandi hall of Mahakal temple, where they participated in the Bhasma Aarti ritual.
In recent news, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was seen visiting the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain. He actiavely took part in the Bhasma Aarti ceremony. Making the visit on his birthday, the actor sought the blessings of Lord Mahakal while praying for the progress of the nation.
Akshay Kumar was accompanied by his sister, son, niece, and his close friends. Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was also seen with him. The group arrived at the temple at around 4:00 AM.
Both Akshay Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan were seated in the Nandi hall, where they participated in the Bhasma Aarti ritual. The puja was conducted by priest Ashish Guru. The priest revealed that Akshay Kumar prayed for the prosperity of the nation. As a part of the ritual, Akshay Kumar received Mahakal’s Bhasm (ash) and Kaleva as prasad.
Akshay Kumar was even seen performing the Aarti. Both Akshay Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan shared that they had prayed for the country’s well-being and success. When questioned about the upcoming India-Pakistan match and World Cup, they shared that India shall win.
Akshay Kumar even emphasized that praying for the nation’s welfare is the best one can pray for. On the work front, the teaser of Akshay Kumar upcoming film ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ was unveiled earlier on Thursday.
