Bhubaneswar: The annual science exhibition of Bhubaneswar based Guidance English Medium School was held at the school premises in Dumuduma on December 23, 2018. Crafted by the students, more than 200 projects were exhibited on this occasion.
The principal of the school Mrs. Suhasini Pattanaik presided the meeting while former minister Suresh Routray graced the occasion as the chief guest. The other dignitaries present on this occasion were, Regional Officer of CBSE (Odisha) Thongkholet Mate, Block Education Officer Sasmita Mali, secretary of the school committer Sarfaraj Ali, administrative head Sayed Injamamul Haque along with JK Choudhury and Kalpana Das.
On this occasion students of the school came up with innovative science projects in different subjects. Adyasha, Sri Pratik, Ishra and Anjum prepared projects showcasing different types of bridges. Sunil, Asit, Sundeep and Vivek exhibited projects on waste management while AR Ayush and Sasmita Panda prepared a project on natural effects of air. Teacher of the school, Basanta Kumara Lenka received the best teacher award on this occasion.
