Stock market holiday for Christmas: BSE, NSE to remain shut today

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain closed on the occasion of Christmas today.

New Delhi: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain shut on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas. The trading for equities, interest rate derivatives, and currency derivatives will also be closed for today. The securities lending and borrowing will not take place on Monday as well.

Wholesale commodity markets will also remain shut for Christmas.

On December 22(Friday), the market ended with the Nifty was at 21,349.40 and Sensex was up 241.86 points or 0.34 percent to 71,106.96.
