Infosys salary hike: Company surprises employees with revised salaries, effective from Nov 1

In recent news, IT giant Infosys has finally released the much-awaited letter of salary hike to its employees. The confirmation letters of the same were sent just one day ahead of Infosys’ ‘Stellar Saturday Culture Carnival’ event on December 16.

This comes after a delay of several months that Infosys has rolled out the salary hike letters to its employees. Moreover, the raises will also be effective from November 1, 2023, contradictory to the usual from April 1.

Reliable reports suggest that the average hike given to the employees is below ten percent. While some employees have received hike in single digits, others lie low even in two digits. Further, employees who are currently at entry level positions have not received any increment at all, confirmed reports from reliable sources.

As per Economic Times, the letter handed out to the employees reads: “We are pleased to revise your compensation in acknowledgement of your commitment and performance with effect from November 1, 2023.”

Furthermore, the email communication that has been shared with the employees thanks them for their constant support and efforts in the time of crisis and needs. The mail also credits the employees for helping the company overcome the current challenges and ensuring success in all other aspects as well.

The main motive behind the Infosys salary hike is likely to boost the employees’ morale and trust on the company. According to Infosys, the compensation review program is for the fiscal year 2023-24.
