Gold price today: Rates decrease marginally for 24 carat, 22 carat in India

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold has decreased marginally in India in the last 24 hours. On December 17, 2023, the 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 62,370 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 57,130. The price has dropped by Rs 30 for both 24 carat and 22 carat gold.

In Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar the rates of gold has increased in the last 24 hours. While 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,000, 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 57,750 on December 17.

Changes were also recorded in several major cities of India as mentioned below:

• Delhi: Rs 63,150 for 24 carat gold, Rs 57,900 for 22 carat gold
• Kolkata: Rs 63,000 for 24 carat gold, Rs 57,750 for 22 carat gold
• Mumbai: Rs 63,000 for 24 carat gold, Rs 57,750 for 22 carat gold
• Chennai: Rs 52,285 for 24 carat gold, Rs 47,927 for 22 carat gold

Silver rate in India has been priced at Rs 74,300 per kg on December 17.
