New Delhi: Government-owned telecom operator BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has announced up to 1GB of free 2G/ 3G data benefits for users on the download of the latest version of the My BSNL app on Google Play. The extra 1GB data benefit will be available beyond the daily/ monthly data benefits of the existing BSNL prepaid or postpaid plan. It will come with a validity period of 30 days. The offer is valid till December 31.
The new version of BSNL’s Android App brings an updated user interface and a new integrated ad-based rewards scheme for BSNL subscribers. It also features Call2Action Communication which can be accessed by both BSNL and non-BSNL subscribers.
The new ad-based rewards scheme include pushing advertorial and promotional content through calls, SMS messages, alerts, notifications, beacons and other location-based interactions. Through these, users will be able to earn rewards.
Furthermore, using the new ‘My BSNL’ App, users can pay bills, recharge prepaid balance, track data usage, check account details, find out the nearest Wi-Fi points and choose customised numbers.
