Yamaha has recently launched the 2022 Yamaha NMax 155 in the China market and our hopes are quite high that the scooter will get launched in India. For those who are unknown, the Yamaha NMax 155 is based on the Aerox 155 that is already available in India. If launched in India anytime soon, the scooter will be priced near to the Aerox 155.

Engine
The Yamaha NMax 155 shares the same engine as that of the Aerox 155. It is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The 155cc engine produces a power of 15hp and a toque of 13.8Nm. The brakes of the scooter are handled by 230mm disc brakes at the rear as well as the front. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear is a gas-charged monoshock.
The wheels of the NMax 155 are smaller than the Aerox 155. While the Aerox 155 gets a 14-inches tyre, the NMax 155 gets a 13-inches tyre. In terms of storage, the NMax gets a 7.1-litre fuel tank. The weight of the scooter stands at 131kg. The scooter also gets a traction control system.
Design
The scooter gets an LED headlamp with twin low beam chambers with LED DRLs. The tail lamp is also an LED unit. However, the turn indicators are halogen units. The instrument cluster is fully digital along with support for MyRide app. The instrument cluster displays information like the Bluetooth connectivity, email, call, SMS, battery level of your smartphone, etc. The scooter also gets a Start/Stop function for efficient fuel consumption.
The Yamaha NMax 155 if launched in India will be priced between Rs 1.4 lakh and Rs 1.5 lakh. The scooter is especially meant for those who need a performance scooter for their daily commute.
