Royal Enfield showcases Shotgun 650 at the Motoverse 2023, Check details here
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 that was showcased at Motoverse 2023 is a special edition of the motorcycle and costs Rs 4.25 lakh.
Royal Enfield has not only launched the Himalayan 450 at the Motoverse 2023 but also showcased the Shotgun 650. This motorcycle will be the fourth 650cc motorcycle in the manufacturer’s 650cc segment. Some similarity can be drawn between the style of Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650. However, it (Shotgun 650) does have some difference in terms of hardware and paint scheme.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 that was showcased at the Motoverse 2023 is a special edition of the motorcycle and the regular edition will be different. The special edition is limited to 25 participants that were present in the 2023 Motoverse event (through random draw). The paint scheme that the motorcycle gets is quite distinct and also gets hand-painted design. On the other hand, the engine casing is offered in glossy black finish.
The special edition of the Shotgun 650 costs Rs 4.25 lakh and will be delivered to the customers in early 2024 (starting from Jan 2024). The motorcycle gets selected genuine accessories which include LED turn indicators and bar-end mirrors. There is also an extended warranty and RSA on the motorcycle.
When it comes to engine, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition gets the same engine as the Super Meteor 650. We get a 6-speed gearbox that is paired with a slip and assist clutch. Even though the manufacturer is yet to reveal the exact engine details, we are quite sure that it will offer 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque (which is same as that of the other 650s). We get different wheel sizes along with changed weight distribution. Even though the Motoverse edition of the motorcycle has a single seat, we will get pillion seat on the production model. Rather than being a retro-cruiser (like the Super Meteor 650), the overall design of the motorcycle is more of a roadster.
