India gets a new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror at Rs 2.25 lakh

JawaYezdi Motorcycles took the wraps off a new colour variant of the 42 Bobber, called Black Mirror. The new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror price in India is set at Rs. 2.25 lakh, ex-showroom. The existing other three colour variants of the Jawa 42 costs Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 less than the Black Mirror. That makes the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror the most expensive variant.

The new Black Mirror edition of the 42 Bobber features a combination of chrome finish and black color. The upper half of the tank is made in chrome while the rest of the bike is painted in black.

The Jawa 42 Black Mirror edition sports diamond-cut alloy wheels, instead of spoke wheels on other trims. It gives the bike a new look and also bring in the convenience of tubeless tyres.

It has a larger size of throttle body, whose size has been increased from 33mm to 38mm. The idling RPM has been lowered from 1,500 to 1,300rpm. Moreover, the fuel efficiency and gear and engine covers has also been updated.

Apart from this, the bike has almost the same design as the other colour options. Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber is a 334cc, single-cylinder motor, that churns out 29.5bhp and 32.7Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The other features of the bike include assist and slipper clutch, a digital console, circular LED headlamp, an adjustable seat, bar-end mirrors, and a charging port. Even the neat-looking slash-cut exhaust remains the same.

The other three colour variants of the Jawa 42 Bobber include Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and Jasper Red colours which are priced between Rs. 2.12 lakh to Rs. 2.15 lakh, ex-showroom.

The least expensive variant is the Mystic Copper colour which is priced at Rs 2.12 lakh. The Moonstone White shade with a blue stripe running down the centre of the tank will cost you Rs 2.13 lakh. Meanwhile, the Jasper Red colour that combines red and white has a price tag of Rs 2.15 lakh.
