Hyundai launches Adventure editions for Creta as well as Alcazar in India

Hyundai has launched the adventure editions of Creta as well as Alcazar in India and the prices start at Rs 15.17 lakh and Rs 19.04 lakh respectively. While the Adventure edition of Creta is available in petrol engine only, the Alcazar Adventure edition will be available from Rs 19.04 lakh.

When it comes to special edition, it will be the first special edition of Alcazar to be introduced in India. On the other hand, this will be the second special edition of Creta after the Knight edition.

Adventure Edition features

The Adventure edition SUVs get dashcam as standard across all variants. This feature was earlier limited to Exter as well as Venue N Line SUVs. The grille on the Adventure edition SUVs is blacked out while the Hyundai logo is black too. The blacked out treatment is present on the skid plates present on the front, rear as well as on the sides. The other parts that get blacked out treatment are 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamp housing, wing mirrors, C-pillar trim (only on Creta) and tailgate garnish (only on Alcazar). The Adventure edition badges are present on the front fenders on both Alcazar and Creta. The special edition SUVs get a Ranger Khaki colour option.

The Adventure edition variants get all-black interior theme with Sage Green inserts on the AC vents, switches, stitching on seats, piping etc.

Powertrains

In terms of power, there will not be any change in the engines that are offered in the SUVs.

The Alcazar gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is paired with 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. It produces 160hp and 253Nm. The other engine is the 1.5-litre diesel engine that churns out 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

On the other hand, the Creta gets a single 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 115hp power and 144Nm torque.
