Hyundai has officially unveiled the facelifted version of the Creta ahead of its scheduled launch on January 16. The exterior of the Hyundai Creta facelift is out. Moreover, the company has confirmed that the official deliveries will begin by the end of this month.

In the Indian market, the Hyundai Creta facelift will take on the likes of Seltos, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Taigun, and the Kushaq.

The images shared by the company show the Creta Facelift in a piano-black finish with a tweaked exterior design. The updated Hyundai Creta is more rugged and powerful than the current version. It now features a new rectangular grille, a refreshed bonnet with LED lighting. The four L-shaped daytime running lights runs above the wide grille from one corner to another. It now features updated squared housings for the headlights. Hyundai has packed the SUV with a more prominent skid plate with a silver finish.

At the rear, it features LED tail lamps that are connected with an inverted L-shaped LED light bar. It features a larger silver skid plate at the rear too. The rear bumper and tailgate design have been revised as well.

The updated Hyundai Creta rides on new 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. However, there are not many changes on the side.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift will be coming with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, which is not available in the current version. Moreover, Hyundai has also changed the dashboard and AC vent designs.

The SUV’s cabin now has a side AC vent in piano black colour, placed in the upper portion of the passenger-side dashboard. Below the AC vent now sits a open storage space with ambient lighting. The Dashboard now has a new climate control panel with touch controls.

The features of the updated SUV include panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, an eight-way powered adjustable driver’s seat, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, and wireless phone charging. The safety features of the Creta has received a huge upgrade with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), six airbags, 360-degree cameras, a blind spot monitoring system, and others. The Level 2 ADAS suite has 19 functions.

Hyundai Creta facelift powertrain options

The new Creta will be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160 PS / 253 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Hyundai will also continue to offer it in the existing 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines with their respective automatic and manual gearbox options. The motor were upgraded last year to comply with BS6 Phase 2 emissions norms.

The updated Creta will be sold in seven trims and seven exterior paint shade options.
