Harley-Davidson X440 bookings reach over 25,000 in a month

Harley-Davidson has revealed the booking numbers for the recently launch x440 bike in India. According to the automaker, the Harley-Davidson X440 have received 25,597 bookings within the first month of its launch.

The Harley-Davidson X440 was launched in the country last month at a price of Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory pricing ended on August 3. Later the cost of the bike was hiked by Rs 10,500 to Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The price of the top variants of the X440 costs Rs 2.80 lakh.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is the most affordable bike in the company’s lineup. It was developed in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp.

The Harley Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that generates 27 bhp of power. On the other hand, the engine produces 2 7 BHP and 38 Nm of torque. Users get a 6-speed gearbox on the Harley Davidson X440. It gets 320mm disc brake at the front and inverted front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

Production of the Harley-Davidson X440 will begin in September at Hero MotoCorp’s Neemrana factory. Customer deliveries will commence in October.

The X440 competes with the likes of the Triumph Speed 400 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
