Bhubaneswar: PM Narendra Modi will visit Odisha’s Balangir district on January 16, during which he is scheduled to address a mega public rally being held by the State BJP.
Confirming the visit, State BJP General Secretary Prithviraj Harichandan today informed that the PM will address the party workers and the public on Swabhiman Samabesh.
However, it would be the second visit to Odisha by Modi in January next year as a schedule for his Baripada visit has also been announced by the party for January 5.
Notably, on December 24 this year Modi inaugurated a new IIT-Bhubaneswar campus at Arugul and launched projects worth over Rs 14,500 crore in the state. He also laid the foundation stone of IISER Berhampur via video conferencing.
