Bhubaneswar: Pakistan High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood today met CM Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here and congratulated him for successfully hosting the Men’s Hockey World Cup-2018.
“I’m very glad to visit Odisha and privileged to call on His Excellency the Chief Minister. I congratulated him and the people of Bhubaneswar as well as Odisha for hosting the World Cup Hockey. Last evening I saw the match. It’s the reason for me to come over here. I think it is a great contribution to the field of hockey,” said Mahmood to media soon after the meeting.
As per the information, during his discussion with the CM, Mahmood also discussed on the people to people contact between Pakistan and Odisha as well as cultural exchange in the form of tourism.
