New Delhi: Carmaker Nissan has announced that the soon-to-be-launched Nissan Kicks will be the official car for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which is scheduled to be held from May 30 to July 14 next year.
Being the official car of the ICC World Cup 2018, the Nissan Kicks will go on a trophy tour in India, carrying the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy across eight major cities VIZ. Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Delhi/NCR.
Slated to be launched in India early next year (possibly January 2019), the new Nissan Kicks will be a lot different from the European-spec Kicks. The India-specific Kicks will be based on the Terrano’s B0 platform and will be bigger than its European counterpart. The SUV is also set to get new styling and features suited for the Indian market. However, the car is likely to share its engine options with the Terrano
It is being expected to be priced between 11-16 lakhs in India and will rival other similar models like Terrano, Hyundai Creta and Renault Captur.
