A total of seven posts of Assistant Analytical Chemist, Group-B of Odisha Food Testing Laboratory Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department.

Online applications are invited from the prospective candidates through the proforma application form to be made available on the website of the Commission (http://opsc.gov.in). the link for online application and submission shall be available from 30.05.2023 to 01.07.2023.

A total of seven posts of Assistant Analytical Chemist, Group-B of Odisha Food Testing Laboratory Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department in the pay scale of Rs 44,900-Rs 1,42,400 (Level-10 of Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules 2017), with usual dearness and other allowance as many be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Age limits:

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years on the 1^st day of January, 2023 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than the 2^nd January 1985 and not later than the 1^st January 2002. However, there will be relaxation for the deserving candidates.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have possessed a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Diary Chemistry or Food Technology, Food and Nutrition or holds Bachelor or Technology in Diary/ Oil or holds degree in Veterinary Sciences from a university established in India by law or is an associate of the institution of Chemists or any other equivalent qualification recognized and notified by Central Government for such purposes.
Besides, they should have adequate knowledge in computer application i.e Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point), MS Access and Usage of Internet services.

Examination fee:

The examination fee has been exempted to all he categories of candidates as per G.A & P.G Department Notification No.9897/Gen.,dt.11.04.2022.

Place of examination:

The written examination for the post of Assistant Analytical Chemist shall be held at Cuttack depending on the number of candidates. The programme of examination shall be notified well in advance.
