Rising Tension In Ukraine: Indian Citizens All Set To Return Home

New Delhi: Indians who were stuck in Ukraine shall now return in special flights sent by the Government of India.

The Indians who are in Ukraine had appealed to the government of India to rescue them due to the rising border tension between Russia and Ukraine.

The procedure to get back the Indian citizens has now been started in full swing. A 200-seater Air India flight is on its way to get back the citizens.

The flight is scheduled to land in Delhi today at 11 pm with the Ukraine returnees. Within this week three flights will be deployed to bring back the people stuck in Ukraine.

As a matter of pride for Odias, it is noteworthy that the Indian Ambassador to Ukraine is from Odisha, Partha Satpathy. He is a 1990 batch IFS officer of Odisha cadre. He is from Bhubaneswar.

He has played a pivotal role in initiating the talks and arranging means to get back the Indian citizens safely from Ukraine.
