Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ tipped to launch in India as Xiaomi branded phones

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 Series smartphones including Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in China on Thursday. Now, a new report has suggested that Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are likely to launch in India as Xiaomi-branded smartphones.

However, the report has not revealed any information about the rebranding of the vanilla Redmi Note 11 5G and the launch date of these smartphones in India.

The Redmi Note 11 series comes with IP53 rating for dust- and water-resistance and are powered by MediaTek chipsets along with up to 8GB of RAM.

Tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) has revealed that Redmi Note 11 Pro will launch in India as the Xiaomi 11i, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will come to India as the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge through a tweet. Furthermore, the tipster also revealed that the Redmi Note 11 series phones won’t be rebranded for the Global markets.

However, note that Xiaomi has not made any announcement about the launch of the series in India and has not confirmed this information yet.

The tipster did not mention the vanilla Redmi Note 11 5G model in the tweet so it’s not clear whether it is coming to India or not. However, a previous report has suggested that the Redmi Note 11 5G may be rebranded as Poco M4 Pro 5G and could be launched on November 9.

Redmi Note 11 series price

The vanilla Redmi Note 11 5G has a starting price of CNY 1,299 (around Rs 15,200) in China, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a starting price of CNY 1,599 (around Rs 18,700), and the cost of the premium Redmi Note 11 Pro+ begins at CNY 1,899 (around Rs 22,200).

Redmi Note 11 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 11 is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Redmi Note 11 5G sports a dual camera setup at the rear with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor.At the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel shooter for selfie and video chats.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has similar specifications except the battery capacity and the charging speeds. Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

Both the Pro smartphones features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 108-megapixel primary sensor. Both the phones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
