Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm and lightning warning has been issued for as many as 27 out of 30 districts of the state on Sunday.
The regional Meteorological Centre issued the warning of thunderstorm with lightning in the 27 districts between 10.30 AM to 2.30 PM.
People of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Bargarh, Balangir, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati and Angul have been advised to shelter themselves either in their respective houses or in other safe locations.
The weatherman also predicted heavy rainfall at one or two places of these districts.
