A passenger airplane was forced to spin on runway by strong winds after heavy storms strike Argentina. The video of the incident is going viral over the internet. In the video, the airplane is seen standing still first, but later it got hit by strong winds, the flight spin. The incident has come to the fore from the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport near Buenos Aires.
A set of boarding stairs was also hurled across the runway, colliding with a luggage carrier due to the strong winds. Following the storm, nearly 14 people lost their lives, while it created a havoc in the country.
The winds clocked at up to 150 kmph due to the storm that led the roof of a sports facility to collapse during a roller skating competition Saturday night in the city of Bahia Blanca. Nearly 14 people were severely injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, a powerful storm battered parts of the US East Coast and the Northeast, killing three people, knocking out power, washing out roads and prompting the evacuation of a community.
