The police discovered 39 packets of one-kilogram bricks of suspected cocaine on Friday near Magenta Beach. Later, another 85 packages of the same size had been spotted along about 80 kilometres (50 miles) of the New South Wales coastline.
Following the discovery of cocaine, the local police have urged people to report any suspicious packages. On December 26, a fisherman found a blue barrel containing 39 cakes of cocaine, weighing one kilogram each in the Northern Beaches of Australia.
Over 120 kg of cocaine were seized by the police and will be examined. Further details are awaited.
