Nepal: Bodies of students killed in Israel-Hamas war brought to Kathmandu

Bodies of four Nepali students killed during the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, were brought to Kathmandu on October 22.

Kathmandu: Bodies of four Nepali students killed during the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, were brought to Kathmandu on October 22.

The body of one more Nepali student will be brought to Kathmandu later in the day.

As per the embassy, the deceased have been identified as Narayan Prasad Neupane, Lokendra Singh Dhami, Dipeshraj Bista, and Ashish Chaudhary.

Earlier, Nepal Embassy official told ANI, as many as 10 Nepali students were confirmed dead in the ongoing war.

Around 50 students from Nepal were in a place called Alumim, located between Israel and Gaza, when it was attacked by a group called Hamas on October 7. Since the conflict started on that day, more than 4,200 people in Israel and Palestine have lost their lives.

Sadly, three of the Nepali students passed away, likely from gunshot wounds and pieces of shrapnel from grenades. It is also believed that one Nepali student was taken captive by Hamas.
