Naked woman fires gun on San Francisco’s Bay Bridge during rush hour

San Francisco: San Francisco’s Bay Bridge was witness to a bizarre incident on Tuesday, during rush hour, as a naked woman opened fire while walking along the bridge.

According to reports, the California Highway Patrol received a 911 call reporting a driver displaying a firearm on the I-80 span, which crosses the scenic San Francisco Bay. Officers responded promptly to the distress call, not knowing what awaited them.

At approximately 4:40 pm, the woman, who was driving on the bridge, suddenly brought her vehicle to a halt in the middle of a lane. She stepped out of the car wielding a knife and began shouting incoherently. After a brief moment, she got back into her vehicle and continued driving toward Oakland.

The situation escalated even further when the woman reached a toll plaza, where she exited her vehicle for a second time. This time, she was shockingly without any clothing and was armed with a gun, as reported by the New York Post.

Terrifying footage captured the woman walking along the road, firing her weapon into the air erratically. The incident created panic and fear among the commuters stuck in traffic during the busy rush hour.

However, law enforcement officers from the California Highway Patrol acted with incredible speed and professionalism, managing to convince the woman to drop the gun without any confrontation. They successfully took her into custody, ensuring that no injuries were reported during the distressing incident.

The motive behind the woman’s perplexing and dangerous behavior remains unknown. After her arrest, she was transported to a local hospital, where she continues to receive psychiatric evaluation and care. Authorities are working to gain insight into her mental state and the reasons behind her actions on that fateful day.
