Minor girl raped in ambulance in Pakistan’s Punjab

Lahore: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two persons in an ambulance in Pakistan’s Punjab province on Sunday.

Police have arrested the accused persons who have been identified as Ahsan Ali and Sameen Haider. Both of them are government employees of Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122.

According to reports, the girl’s parents informed the police after she did not return home after she went missing on Saturday from a Gurdwara in Nankana Sahib City.

They alleged that they heard a girl screaming inside the ambulance of Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122, which was parked at Nankana bypass, and rushed to the spot and found two men assaulting their daughter. However, the culprits fled from the spot by throwing the girl out of the vehicle.

The family rushed her to hospital where her condition was stated to be stable.

Based on their allegation, police started an investigation into the matter and learned that the rape victim was mentally unstable.
